  • 200 grams of flour
  • 5 organic eggs
  • 220 grams of brown sugar
  • 250 grams of peeled carrots
  • 180 grams of peeled almonds
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 65 grams of rapeseed oil
  • 80 grams of semi-skimmed milk
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Carrots pie, the preparation

  1. After having cleaned the carrots, cut them into small pieces then grind them with an electric blender until you have a creamy mixture
  2. Pour the mixture into a large bowl and add the milk, a few tablespoons of sugar and mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
  3. Once this is done, finely chop the peeled almonds: if you prefer you can buy the almond flour directly
  4. In another bowl pour the eggs, the remaining sugar, the oil and the almonds
  5. Assemble everything with the help of an electric whisk
  6. At this point add the eggs with the previously prepared mixture
  7. Finish with the flour and baking powder then mix with a wooden spoon
  8. Mix all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture without lumps
  9. Once the operation is complete, take a round pan of about 25 or 30 cm in diameter that you will oil
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes
